Biography

Areas of Practice
Mr. Ritter practices in the areas of Information Technology, Commercial Law, Privacy and Information Management and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Professional Background
Mr. Ritter has over two decades of experience practicing law as a commercial lawyer performing mergers and acquisitions, secured lending and SEC regulatory compliance. In addition, he has been a pioneer in defining the emerging law of electronic commerce and the legal structure of technology transactions. His current practice emphasizes complex commercial agreements governing electronic commerce products and services with emphases in retail, real estate, health care, insurance and international trade. He also assists clients in addressing legal risks associated with information security, software vulnerabilities and enterprise risk management for global companies.
